Dr. Aaron Farrell, C.Psych Dr. Farrell is a Registered Clinical and Forensic Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and a member of the Canadian Psychological Association. He received his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Fielding Graduate University in California and Honours Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Women’s Studies from the University of Waterloo. Dr. Farrell has over 25 years of experience in the field of psychology in a number of different settings that include community agencies, private practice, mental health hospitals, and correctional facilities. He is experienced in the assessment and treatment of mental health issues related to major mental health disorders as well as concerns such as anxiety, depression, anger management, trauma, gender and sexual identity, autism, academic, forensics, risk, and CAS mental health assessments. Dr. Farrell’s philosophy entails assisting clients in their journey toward becoming whole human beings by providing evidence-based interventions according to the client’s needs. His keen ability to empathize and down-to-earth approach allows clients to feel understood and valued during a difficult time in their life and facilitates their ability to grow through these experiences.
Linda Farrell, R.P., R.M.F.T. Linda Farrell is a Registered Psychotherapist and a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist. She specializes in the treatment of children, teens, adults, couples, and families. She is committed to empowering people to achieve satisfaction and success in their personal and professional lives. Linda is a highly motivated individual who exudes enthusiasm for people and their ability to take charge of their own lives. Linda received her Master of Arts in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Counselling from the University of Guelph, and is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist with the Canadian Association for Couple and Family Therapy. She is also a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. With over 30 years of experience, Linda’s areas of expertise include child and teen issues, marital and family conflict resolution, parenting difficulties, autism, trauma and abuse, and mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression. When working with children, Linda utilizes a problem-solving and creative arts approach which includes play, art, and psycho-education to assist with healthy adaptation and strategies. Parents are an integral part of this process. Her work with teens, adults, and couples takes a positive focused approach utilizing psychoeducation, problem-solving, and goal-setting to work toward change.
